antique Weston Electrical ammeter, large gauge in wood housing w/ 1898 patent date, original leather case

Turn of the century vintage ammeter made by Weston Electrical Instruments Corp of Newark New Jersey. We have not tested this, but it's clean overall, carefully stored in the original leather case.

The leather case is worn, without carrying strap. The leather is dusty with soil on the exterior, dusty on the interior. Still has the (rusty) key for the lock on the case.

The meter itself is marked for the Wisconsin Michigan Power Company with a small name plate. The wood housing has some scratching and a little wear, but it's a really beautiful old meter in amazing original condition.
