antique mid 1800s mirror w/ original old glass, primitive wood frame w/ plank back

Mid 19th century vintage mirror, handmade in an Empire style, a primitive country antique. We believe this is probably 1850s or 1860s.

The glass is original, with very worn silvering and an uneven texture, nice early glass. Glass measures 20" x 12".

The wood frame is decidedly primitive in make and paint. There's a break with missing chunk to the wood square at the top undermolding. The plank back is rough but complete.

The measures about 26" x 14 1/2" over the outside dimensions of the wood frame. The plank back is rough wood, marked as shown.
