antique tiger birdseye maple picture frame, wood plank back frame w/ vintage needlework

Beautiful early 1900s vintage picture frame, figured maple burl wood - tiger or birdseye maple. I love the embossed edge, and the original plank back!

This holds a cross stitch embroidery of a blue bird, which looks nice as it is, though it would be simple to remove it and replace with a photo, or antique print or whatever you'd like. This has the glass, and the frame is in very good solid condition, ready to hang.

We have a second frame in this same style, but the measurements are not identical. They're not really a pair, though you probably wouldn't notice it unless you put them side by side. It's 1/2" of difference! This one measures 11 1/2" x- 1/2" over the exterior of the frame.
