antique tramp art wood spool sewing stool, primitive hassock w/ wool felt flowers

Very early 1900s vintage primitive wood 'box' hassock decorated with barrel shaped spools. It's roughly made tramp art or a child's piece made for mother, just beautiful.

The top of the stool is wool with wool felt flowers, and very worn embroidery stitching. The wood finish is a very old black shellac to match.

Size is 11 3/4" x 12 3/4".
