antique vintage candy tin Merit Mints Richardson's Philadelphia black & gold

Antique metal candy tin from Thos D Richardson's Merit Mints, Philadelphia. Original black and gold finish is very worn but still displays nicely. And 'Merit Mints' sounds like something straight out of Willy Wonka!

Tin measures 5 1/2" tall x 4" in diameter. Interior finish is worn, and a little rust spotted. This is over a hundred years old.
