antique vintage hotel silver bowl w/ center cross handle, waiters waste dish for seafood shells etc

I love the shape of this beautiful early 1900s vintage bowl for table waste. The idea of a silver plated dish to use for oyster shells, orange peels or whatever seems so romantically old fashioned, what with the fancy handle to have it whisked away by a waiter.

I'd use it for jewelry, and hang necklaces on the handle. Handle is about 8" out of the bowl, bowl is about 8 1/2" tall overall, and 8" in diameter. Shows age and wear as you'd expect in a piece like this. Just a lovely old thing, very unusual.
