Antique English ironstone china soap dish, with  J & G Meakin - Royal Arms marking on the reverse. This is plain and simple, undecorated white china which would look equally at home in the kitchen or bathroom - a classic, timeless piece.

It's about 4" x 3" overall, sized for a soap bar or cake of soap about 3" long. There's a little glaze crazing to this piece, and a large flat chip to the bottom rim as shown.
