art deco moderne vintage glass and chrome ashtray or server, tilt lid w/ lever lift

Glass bowl and chrome plated stand with lever tilt lid - we aren't sure if this is a server or a large ashtray, but it has a wonderful art deco style! I can just see Jeeves with this piece, tilting the lid while lifting an eyebrow.

If you don't have Jeeves, you could probably manage the lever yourself, and keep your cigar ashes or after dinner mints tidy! Measures about 7" tall x 7" wide over the rack, and is in very good clean condition overall.
