antique Century 16 in brass blade oscillating fan w/wire cage and 1914 patent
more photos of this product belowLarge early industrial or office vintage Century oscillating fan. This fan is marked as a model 260 with a 1914 patent. It is a 16" fan and has brass blades and a skeletal wire safety cage. It is about 17" across the wire cage.
This runs and oscillates very well and smoothly. It has three speeds (all three speeds work) and really moves a lot of air. The angle of the blades is adjustable.
This fan is in as found condition and appears to be all original. It still has the original badge on the safety cage and the brass oilers.
There is some wear to electrical wiring and some loss to the black enamel japanning, some chips on the base but mostly on the body of the motor (please see the photos).
We're selling this fan for restoration or parts.
