old florentine ornate floral gesso comport bowl stand, vintage Italy

Beautiful antique florentine style gesso over wood pedestal dish, 8 1/4" in diameter across the bowl, and 6 1/2" tall. This is not marked at all that we could find, looks like vintage Italian florentine work to us.

The raised decoration has some chips and cracking to the gesso, though the original colored finish looks very good.
