french 'antique' gold baroque Burwood wall clock w/ laurel, from Paris Wisconsin!

We fell in love with this beautiful vintage Burwood french country style wall clock, all the more so as it came straight out of Paris - Wisconsin! (For those who've never heard of it, it's a township near Bristol - Wisconsin - not far from the lake.)

It's not currently in running condition (we've tested it), though the plastic frame is in very good condition. It's a battery operated movement, so would be simple to replace it.

The clock frame measures 24" long end to end, and doesn't appear to have a date (we'd guess mid to late 60s). The movement is under a convex glass hinged cover in nice shape.
