Large heavy cast iron ball finial, for a gate or fence post, or the top of a flag pole. This is a nice one, not the lighter weight aluminum! It's an authentic vintage piece with weathered patina.

This is nicely scaled to use on the top of a mailbox post or similar, or just to stand alone as a garden ornament or indoor decor. It measures almost 4" in diameter on the ball.

The flange below the ball is about 1/2" wide (when measured along the diameter) and it's about 3 3/8" in diameter on the portion below the flange.
