large cast metal elephant statue figure w/ lovely old green verdigris bronze patina

Lovely large cast metal elephant, probably spelter metal with a brass or bronze finish, very green with age and tarnish. This piece measures about 13" long x 15" tall.

It doesn't appear to be marked, and we're not sure if this is a African or Indian elephant. The tusks have been broken out at some point, but aside from that, the figure has no chips or cracks.
