large old majolica pottery plate, alpine wild strawberries, 1940s vintage Western Germany

Late 1940s (post WWII) vintage Western Germany pottery plate, majolica style, with wild strawberries.

This is very shabby with many chips as shown, but it's an unusually large piece at 11 3/4" overall diameter. We so seldom find large plates or trays, and they look great in a display with smaller pieces.
