antique wool horse blanket w/ leather straps Cleveland Ohio Blanket Mills label

Late 1800s or early 1900s heavy wool horse blanket, with nice large original label from Northern Ohio Blanket Mills, Cleveland.

This measures about 88" x 88" overall. It's much worn and used, though still very thick and heavy. We love the mellow rust orange and brown colors, very rustic, primitive style. This is a lovely old piece.

The leather and hardware fasteners are not complete or in perfectly functional condition. And there's assorted rips, holes, wear to the edges, general soil from use and storage in a barn or carriage house.
