McGill hanging trouble work light w/wire safety cage industrial vintage

Mid century industrial McGill portable work or trouble light. This has an olive drab bakelite handle and a heavy wire safety cage for the light bulb. Very steampunk!

This vintage light is marked McGill Mfg Co - Valparaiso, Ind (famous as a maker of industrial ball bearings) and as a 5000 series. The light measures 14" long over the bakelite handle and wire cage and the cord is more then 40' feet long.

This works well, but does have a crack to the bakelite. This has some soil from years in a workshop.
