adjustable needlework stretcher frame stand, birch wood, unused

This is a never used birch wood needlework frame, which came to us with the estate of a needleworker lady. We are not entirely certain how it works, and know what it is because she carefully labeled her storage containers!

It appears to be adjustable to hold different sizes of embroidery material or needlepoint canvas tightly. The frame boards are 11 1/2" long.

This is in very nice condition, and we think complete? and that we have all of the right parts with this! But we have no instructions, sorry.
