New (made in China) china dishes in a vintage-look red transferware pattern, Staffordshire engravings. It's in unused condition, we just took it out of the original shipping boxes for the photos.

There's four each of dinner plates (about 10 1/2" in diameter) and salad plates (about 8" in diameter). There's just three of the soup bowls (about 8 1/2" in diameter).

We like this set even if it isn't old - the red transfer / toile designs are very popular and sometimes difficult to find.
