Nucut star pattern, vintage Imperial glass sugar shaker caster castor?

Lovely old Imperial glass shaker, marked with the IG marking, Nucut pattern. This stands about 5" tall, and has a shiny silver (chrome?) plastic lid.

Both the glass jar and metal lid look very good without damage, and this opens and closes smoothly and tightly.
