old antique primitive stoneware bean baker, brown crock pottery jar pot for baked beans

Early 1900s vintage stoneware crock for baking beans, with a stamped 2 qt mark on the bottom. We have no idea as to the maker of this one. It measures about 7 1/2" across the handles x 7" tall overall.

Both the crock and the lid are in very good clean condition without damage or wear, we seldom find these this nice. It would make a great cookie jar or kitchen canister if you make your beans in an electric crock pot instead of the wood stove these days!
