old crock pottery cookie jar or kitchen canister, vintage yellow ware

Old stoneware cookie jar (about 10 1/2" tall), very primitive and shabby, with discoloration, crazing, chips and cracks to both the canister jar and the lid. The original paint is very worn, too.
