old ironstone china pitchers, fortuna juvat audaces motto coat of arms
more photos of this product belowTwo heavy ironstone china milk pitchers - one unmarked, one with a coat of arms with fortuna juvat audaces motto (fortune favors the bold).
These are vintage restaurantware china, made in the USA early to mid-century vintage. Both have some scratching and wear from use, neither has chips or cracks.
The larger pitcher is 5 1/2" high and the smaller one is 4 1/2" high.
We haven't been able to trace the history of these at all - they're out of the lifetime collection of a china collector and dealer, and that's all we know.
