old antique cast iron horse drawn buggy step from a farm estate

Old cast iron oval peddle step for a horse drawn buggy or wagon. These cast iron steps were used to help people climb in and out of the buggy or wagon. This old iron buggy step is from a farm estate near Portage in the Amish country of Wisconsin. This step has a patina of age and light surface rust.

This step measures about 6"" high to the mounting face and about 9" deep. The peddle step is 3 1/2" x 4 1/4". This step has one of the old mounting carriage bolts stuck through the back mounting hole.
