vintage work white Navy jumper uniform, size 44R, Operations Specialist patch

Vintage work whites US Navy uniform jumper & pants. It is marked size "44R" We've been told that the arm patch is for a OS - Operations Specialist". It is made of double knit fabric and is marked "100% poly" We're not sure of the exact vintage of this uniform, but are guessing Vietnam War vintage (1960s or early 1970s).
