pine needle coiled basket w/ black walnut, handcrafted traditional basketry

Small trinket dish sized pine needle basket with a black walnut shell at the center. This is about 5" in diameter across the rim.

It's handmade, though it's not signed. I don't know where this is from, or its exact age. It's a cute little rustic folk art piece, in very good condition.
