Small sweet old crock jar with a wire bail handle, just like a little bucket with a lid. This is heavy stoneware pottery, USA made, early 20th century vintage.

It's about 5" in diameter, and stands 7" tall to the top of the handle when handle is upright. There's an old chip to the lid, but the jar is free of chips or cracks.
