antique WWI vintage, riding breeches/jodhpurs, US Army
more photos of this product belowLot of two pairs of vintage old riding breeches or jodhpurs.
There is a pair of khaki tan United States military uniform riding breaches. These khaki riding pants are World War I vintage, we think. They measures about 30" at the waist, 24" inseam and about 9" around the bottom cuffs of the legs. They have a hook and eye front and 4 embossed zinc "U. S. Army" buttons on the inside of the waist band. The cuffs have each are made for 7 buttons (these jodhpurs are missing two). They do have some wear, soil and spotting.
The other pair are dark gray with off-white flecks (not quite a tweed weave) and have a "Pepperll Sanforized Shrunk - Battle Axe Whipcord" label with a dragon. We're not sure of the exact vintage of this pair. They measure about 34" at the waist, 26" inseam and 10" around the bottom cuffs. They have reinforced knees. These riding pants also have wear and soil.
