set of 12 vintage linen weave cotton napkins w/ pulled drawn thread work & embroidery

Full dozen of vintage cotton napkins with drawn thread work and hand stitching details, white on white embroidery. These are 15" square, luncheon napkins.

A few of these have some light spots, but most of the napkins have never been used. These have been packed away since the 1950s, but I know very little about them aside from that. I don't know where these were made, or exactly when.

And I know there's probably a name for this technique with the pulled thread accented with stitching, but it's not something I know much about!
