shabby vintage china butter pat plates, antique ironstone and white porcelain

Lot of eight old unmarked porcelain and ironstone porcelain butter plates, four each of two different types.

Four are very heavy ironstone porcelain, old English or American ironstone, not sure which. These are about 3" overall diameter. All of them are very discolored from age and use, and one of these has a hairline.

Four are plain unmarked white porcelain of a lighter weight, probably Japan or Nippon. These are a little roughly made, typical of much of the old export wares, early 1900s vintage. They look good without chips or cracks, and measure about 2 3/4" in diameter.
