unspun raw linen fiber for spinning, old antique flax stricks lot

Lot of raw flax fiber prepared for spinning, out of a old farm estate here in Wisconsin... we'd expect that this was grown and gathered right on the farm where we found it, probably 60-70 years ago. The fiber looks very good, not discolored, or brittle. It has a wonderful feel, soft yet firm, just like linen fabric.

This lot is stricks in several sizes, 3 lbs. altogether. We think these are lovely, pretty enough to display just as they are, though it would also be fine for spinning or other crafts. Raw linen is difficult to find, even here in Wisconsin where it was once widely grown. We were delighted to find this nice large lot!
