vintage California pottery ceramic avocado shape bowls for guacamole or salad set

Vintage ceramic salad set or guac and chips set - one large bowl and four small bowls, all shaped like avocados! The big bowl holds about two quarts, and the smaller bowls are one quart size.

These are marked Made in California, and they look like California avocados, with the brighter green color. These are initialed 'R' - I've never seen avocado shaped bowls before, but I'd guess these are handmade, or from a small studio production.

There's a few tiny glaze chips to a couple of these pieces, but overall it's a nice set. Clean and bright without wear, I don't believe these were ever used.
