vintage Crawfords biscuits English biscuit tin, Crawford's tin made in England

We love this old English biscuit tin... it's mostly paper over very thin tin, made during the war time metal shortage years. The motto on the bottom of the tin reads Crawford's Biscuits Are Good Biscuits. The sides of the lid and the lid are all over flowers on blue.

The tin measures a little over 8" in diameter, and shows darkening and browning from age, though it's solid yet. We didn't see a date on this one.
