vintage Czech pottery plate, underglaze painted stencil basket of red roses

I love the old world rustic style of this vintage ceramic plate. The basket of flowers stencil design looks like French country pottery, though this plate is actually marked Made in Czechoslovakia.

Oval mark rather than round, no break for Czecho-Slovakia. I believe this is probably shortly before or after World War II.

The plate is painted under glaze, made for everyday use. It's an old fashioned dinner plate, about 9 1/4" in diameter. This has a few tiny glaze chips, no cracks, no finish dulling or noticeable scratching from use.
