vintage General 208 Fold A Way hand crank slicer, rare wood board base bread or meat slicer

Rare vintage General 208 Fold-A-Way hand crank slicer with the wood board - this is the one everyone wants for their home baked breads, I've seen a couple of big name sourdough influencers with this model. I was so excited to find this!

The board base folds up to the slicer as shown when not in use, so this really is a nice compact piece to store. Hand crank turns smoothly, and the blade doesn't look very worn - although this piece could use a good cleaning and polishing.

Still has the original (worn) label, this hasn't had hard use. The board needs oiling, probably - but it looks so nice, no staining, no cracks. The white enamel finish is nice and glossy, not noticeably discolored. This one's a beauty in the rough.
