vintage Italian tapestry small rug or wall hanging, St Mark's cathedral

Vintage tapestry wall hanging or small fringed rug. This isn't marked that I could find, but is probably made in Italy, mid-century vintage. I think this is St Mark's?

It measures 38" x 19 1/2" over the weaving, not counting the fringe. It's a rayon / cotton plush, in very good clean condition overall.
