vintage Italy hand painted ceramic pot, Italian pottery garlic keeper jar w/ lid

Beautiful hand painted floral on this ceramic pot made in Italy. I believe this is a garlic keeper? It's vented with the holes as shown, and measures about 6 1/4" tall, 5 1/4" diameter overall. It's clean and nice, in excellent condition.
