vintage Japan binoculars in leather case, Three Star triple tested coated lenses

Mid-century vintage binoculars, made in Japan, 7 x 50. These have a beautiful worn leather case (strap has been torn and poorly mended).

These are marked Three Star (these were made long before the days when everything seems to get a star rating, and only 4+ stars will do!). I think they were named for the 'triple tested coated lens'.

I've only tested these once, but I believe they still work. The black bakelite eyepieces are loose (but not cracked). Case and binoculars look clean.
