vintage Japan lusterware hand painted china pin tray trinket dish, sad elephant downturned trunk

Vintage luster china trinket dish or ring holder, a small sad elephant sitting at the edge of a pond. It's unmarked, made in Japan.

This is a tiny little thing, about 3" long. It's in very nice condition, no chips or wear to the paint. So sweet, I love this piece!
