vintage Japan redware ceramic salt & pepper shakers set Mexican theme w/ cactus

Vintage Japan S&P set with a Mexican theme, with saguaro cactus tray to hold the shakers. Cactus is 4 1/2" tall.

This looks to me like a mid century vintage set, I think the plastic stoppers are probably not original to the shakers.

This set is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. Shakers are clean and empty, never used for salt or pepper.
