vintage M mark Noritake hand painted china tiny plates, grey monochrome tree on lake scene

I love this set of early Noritake - Japan hand painted plates, with a tree on lake scene all in greys. Very zen!

These measure about 3 7/8" across the little handles, about the size of butter pat plates. We were told these were lemon dishes? They don't look as though they've ever been used.
