vintage Shenango ironstone china oval plate or butter dish, red transferware leaves print

Heavy white ironstone oval plate (a butter plate?) vintage Shenango restaurant china. I love this red leaf border pattern.

This measures 8 1/4" across the rim of the plate (5 1/2" across the center area). It's used, with wear and scratching. No chips or cracks.
