vintage USA pottery, Zuma style ceramic frog w/ open mouth, planter or trinket dish

Unmarked vintage USA pottery frog, solid colored glaze in a burgundy maroon color. Unglazed bottom (under the frog) is a little rough. Inside is nice and clean.

I love the shape of this little guy - like the Zuma frog! This was probably made as a planter, but it would make a great trinket dish to hold jewelry or other tiny treasures. Measures about 4" across, really not quite large enough to hold a kitchen sponge.
