vintage apothecary jar, BIG glass candy dish early 1900s antique pressed glass

BIG covered candy dish, about 12" tall to the top of the lid, 7 3/4" bowl diameter. This looks like an old store counter display piece... it's faintly sun purple in color, probably over 100 years old.

It has noticeable scratching from use, but just a few little chips or roughnesses at the mold lines. It would make a great piece to hold a collection of small things like marbles, or seashells, or whatever else that strikes your fancy!
