vintage applique quilt top pieces, red poppy flower cotton blocks to upcycle or complete

1920s or 30s vintage Home Needlecraft Creations kit quilt top pieces, all cotton, with red poppies design. We can't figure out how to piece this into a complete quilt top, even with pattern envelope illustration.

We have two pieces here, measuring 48" x 98" and 34" x 96". Maybe there should be more, but it seems as though it should be about the right amount of material for a bed cover. We can't seem to the get the poppies laid out like the picture, even though we believe the applique work is finished.

These might be able to be cut and pieced into part of a larger quilt, or we think they might make lovely pillow shams, or even aprons!

There's some spots and soil from working and storage, though they might come out with washing - I don't believe this fabric has even been laundered.
