vintage brass fireplace screen, folding fan fire screen w/ winged phoenix or peacock

1980s vintage (made in Taiwan) brass fire screen with peacock or phoenix? The screen looks like the fan of a peacock's tail, but the figural design looks more like a phoenix to us.

This measures 27 1/2" tall to the top of the handle, and about 36" wide unfurled. It's in very good clean condition overall.
