vintage buffalo plaid red & black checked wool lumberjack trapper hat & mittens for hunting

Old fashioned scratchy all wool buffalo plaid earflap cap and mittens. The cap has sheep wool flaps and Filson label.

These are 1950s vintage, and are a little worn, spotted, a few moth holes. The elastic in the cuffs of the mittens has no stretch anymore, and the cap is small by today's sizing... we can imagine Elmer Fudd in just this outfit!

They'd make a great costume, or rustic holiday decor for your wall or door. Vintage north woods lumberjack style hunting clothes... it doesn't get much more camp than this.
