Unmarked vintage Fenton crimped draped pattern bowl, Peacock tail carnival glass?

We've been told that the 'real' color name for this is violet, though it looks part amethyst purple and part marigold orange to us!

The bowl measures about 9 1/2" in diameter, with crimped ruffle shaped edge. It's in very nice condition without chips, cracks or wear.
