vintage china figurine planter pot, very old hand painted panda bear made in Japan

Old china planter / figurine, a small panda about 4" x 2 3/4" tall. This is marked Hand Painted Japan on the bottom.

He's in very good shape - a little dusty, but no chips, cracks or repairs, and no noticeable wear to the paint.
