vintage cottage ware ceramic cookie jar, Occupied Japan cottageware

Vintage thatched cottage cookie jar or biscuit jar, made in Occupied Japan. The little cottage measures 6 3/4" x 5 1/2" at the base and about 8" tall not including the rattan handle.

There's crazing to both the jar and the lid, and discoloration to the jar. No chips or cracks or either piece, and the handle looks good, too.
