vintage ironstone china plates, fluted edge salad plates set J&G Meakin Classic White

Set of four vintage J &G Meakin salad or dessert plates, 7" in diameter. Classic White, fluted shape ironstone china, made in England.

These are nice and glossy without chips, though they do have crazing.

If you're looking for ironstone china to 'antique' with tea staining, or for plates to decorate with the vintage style art decals - these would be just the thing I think! I've seen the Classic White china done up very prettily.
